Die Tapete / the wallpaper

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Heute ein kurzer Post (hoffe ich). Ich war ja vorige Woche ein böses Mädchen und habe Unmengen an Lacken gekauft... Unter anderem 2 Pastelltöne von Essie einer sogar aus der Spring 2014 Kollektion! Da Frühling ist, passen Pastelltöne jetzt ganz besonders gut und mit einer anderen neuen Eroberung, dem Color Show Designer Nail Art Pen von Maybelline New York habe ich das ganze ein bisschen aufgepeppt. Aber seht selbst!
Today I have a short post for you (hopefully). Last week I was a really bad girl and because I bought a huge amount of nail polish... Inter alia two pastell-toned polishes from Essie, one from their new Spring 2014 collection. Because it's Spring pastell-toned polishes are fitting very well and with my new achievment the Color Show Designer Nail Art Pen from Maybelline New York I  jazzed up the colors a bit. Take a look!

TRI this ANGLE and make DOT happen

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Der Titel des Posts ist ein kleines Wortspiel, dass sich auf das Design bezieht, dass ich aktuell habe.
Der violette/magentafarbene Lack ist neu und zwar von Gabriella Salvete, einer italienischen Marke die man im Bipa Onlineshop bestellen kann. Vorige Woche gabs eine Prozentaktion und ich habe mir zu Testzwecken 4 Stück bestellt.

Todays posttitle is a play on words, which refers to my actual nail design. The violett/magenta polish is new and from Gabriella Salvete, a italian brand which you can buy online at Bipa Onlinestore in Austria. Does anyone of you know this brand?

Hier könnt ihr auch sehen, wie Push and Shove mit Top Coat aussieht, ich finde es ist gar nicht schlimm.
Besonders gut gefällt mir die Kombination Cream-Metallic-Mirror, sprich eine Cremefarbe (amazON...amazOFF und MBsW), eine mit Metallicschimmer (127) und Spiegeleffekt (Push and Shove)

I really like the combination cream-metallic-mirror.

 Und wie gefällts euch? Ich finde die vier Farben passen einfach super zusammen, obwohls jetzt wohl auch bei mir mit den Pastelltönen losgehen wird, schließlich ist ja schon Frühling!
How do you like it? I think these four colors are very nice together, but now I will start with pastell-toned colors because it's Spring already!

Conny

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Wow, bin ich im Moment aktiv! Heute wieder ein Post! =)
Diesmal einer, der meiner Freundin Conny gewidmet ist. Ich habe sie vorigen Sonntag besucht und durfte auch ihre Nägel machen. Als Vorlage gab sie mir einen Schal und ich hab versucht, mit dem kleinen Kontingent das ich mit hatte, das Design nachzustylen. Ich glaube es ist mir ganz gut gelungen.
Es war wirklich ein lustiger und echt netter Nachmittag und vollgestopft mit Tiramisu und einem tollen Design auf Conny's Nägel, konnte ich echt zufrieden wieder nach Hause fahren!

Wow, I'm so active on my blog recently! Today I have another post for you!
This time it's dedicated to my friend Conny. I visited her last Sunday and she allowed me to do her nails. She gave me a scarf as model and I tried to copy the design with the small amount of supplies I caried. I think I copied it very well.
It was really a funny and nice afternoon and cram-full with Tiramisu and a really cool design on Conny's nails, I was able to get home satisfied.

Perfektionist wie ich einer bin, wenns um Nägel geht, hätte ich, im Nachhinein betrachtet, als Grundton, wohl besser Essie - Sand Tropez gewählt, oder einen anderen eher Sandfarbener Lack. Aber wie gesagt, bin ich ja nur mit einer kleinen Auswahl zu ihr gefahren und nicht mit meinen ganzen "Tower of Awesome" (mein Kosename für meine Lack-Verstau-Kommode).

Looking back, a sand colored polish would have fit better, like Essie - Sand Tropez. But as stated before, I went to her with just a little amount of supplies and not with the whole "Tower of Awesome"(my pet name for my polish-stash-commode-thingy).

Und wie gefällts euch? Conny, was haben deine Kollegen gesagt?
And, how do you like it?

Edit: Ich habe ganz vergessen, die hellblaue Farbe dazuzuschreiben! I completely forgot to mention the light blue color I used!

Are you the tooth fairy?

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Bist du die Zahnfee? Das fiel mir als erstes ein, nachdem ich meine aktuellen Nägel fertig hatte. Der Satz stammt übrigens aus "Transformers", wenn die Transformers auf die Erde fallen und einer in einem Pool landet. Das kleine Mädchen ist total überrascht und fragt den riesigen Roboter, ob er die Zahnfee sei. Total süß die Szene und die Musik im Hintergrund ist der Hammer. Aber egal... Fotos!!

Are you the tooth fairy? This sentence came to my mind, after finishing my manicure. I got it from "Transformers", when they came down on earth and one landed in the pool of a family. The surprised little girl asks the giant robot this question. The scene is totally cute and the backround music is amazing! Whatever... photos!!

Sorry, die Fotos sind ein bisschen schlecht, aber ich wollte unbedingt Starcrossed gut einfangen. Der Lack ist durchsichtig mit feinem goldenen und holo Glitzer drinnen. Ein perfekter Lack um reine Farblacke aufzupeppen. Was mir am Meisten gefällt, ist der Gel-Look meiner Nägel, obwohl ich jetzt auf keinen Fall mehr welche haben möchte, gefällt es mir trotzdem, wenn sie so tun als ob =).
Sorry, my pics are a bit crappy, but I wanted to catch the effect of Starcrossed. This polish is a clear one with tiny gold and holo glitter in it. It's the perfect polish to jazz up purely color lacquers. What I liked most about this mani, is the gel look of my nails, even though I don't want to have real gel nails anymore, I like it when they pretend to be one =).

Und auf den Geschmack gekommen? Starcrossed bekommt man aktuell noch in manchen Bipa Filialen oder bei Müller, der ist nämlich aus der Go Baroque Collection. Würdet ihr in kaufen?

L'Oreal - Jackie Tweed Swatch

Heute ein kleiner Swatch für euch!
Vor kurzem habe ich L'Oreal - Color Riche Jackie Tweed ergattert, ein Top Coat mit kurzen, feinen, matten, orangen, gelben und blauen Streifen drinnen. Weil die Farbtöne eher pastell sind, dachte ich mir: perfekt für den Frühling und aufgrund der verschiedenen Farben, passt er gut zu verschiedenen Grundfarben.
Für meinen ersten Test habe ich mich für Essence - i have a crush on blue! , ein helles grau-blau entschieden. Ganz zufrieden war ich mit der Farbkombi nicht, ich denke eine off-white (z.b. O.P.I. - my vampire is buff oder my boyfriend scales walls) wäre besser gewesen...

I bought L'Oreal - Color Riche Jackie Tweed lately, which is a top coat with short, fine, matte, orange, yellow and blue sprinkles in it. The colors are pastell toned, they fit perfect for spring and because of the combination they match perfectly with different base colors. For my first try, I chose Essence - i have a crush on blue!, which is a light-coloured gray-blue polish. I wasn't very satisfied with the combination and afterwards I thought, maybe an off-white color (like O.P.I. - my vampire is buff or my boyfriend scales walls) would have fit better...





Das Auftragen ging wirklich gut, am Pinsel waren immer genug Streifen drauf. Der Lack selbst ist ein wenig dickflüssig, fast schon klumpig und ohne Top Coat auch ziemlich uneben. Allerdings trocknet er trotz der Streifen relativ schnell.
Alles in allem, ein toller Effekt-Top Coat: interessante Farben, einfache Handhabung, Trocknungszeit ok.

The application worked really well, there are enough sprinkles on the brush, you don't have to fish for them. The polish itself is a bit thick, nearly goopy and without another layer of top coat a bit bumpy. The drying time is ok, despite the big amount of sprinkles.
Overall a great effect-top coat: interesting colors, easy handling, drying time ok.

Retro Post

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Da ich noch nichts neues habe, dachte ich mir, wieso nicht ein Post über mein allererstes dokumentiertes Design. Sorry für die schlechte Bildqualität, damals habe ich noch keinen Blog geschrieben und somit noch keinen Wert auf gute Fotos gelegt.
Das habe ich an Sylvester 2012/2013 getragen und ich war damals so stolz drauf!
Dieser Post ist auch der erste in meinem neuen Label, d.h. ich werde euch öfter mal ein ganz altes Design präsentieren!
Because I don't have something new to show, I thought, why not post a picture of my very first nail design. Sorry for the bad quality, but at this time I haven't started my blog yet, so I don't made proper pics.
I wore this design on New Years Eve 2012/2013 and I was sooo proud about it.
This is also the first post in my new label "Retro", which means, there will be more posts about very old designs.

Inspired by ... "300 - Rise of an Empire"

Before we start - Welcome new followers!

Heute wieder ein "Inspired by ..." Post, meine quasi neue kleine Unterkategorie, die Designs enthält, die durch ganz bestimmte Dinge inspiriert wurden.
Heute ist es der Film "300 - Rise of an Empire" der seit Donnerstag im Kino ist. Der Film selbst war eher mau, meine Nägel hingegen waren der Hammer (wie ich finde).

Today I have a post in my little new subcategory called "Inspired by ...", which contains designs, who are inspired by specific things.
Today it's the movie "300 - Rise of an Empire" which premiered in cinemas this Tuesday. The movie itself was meh, but my nails look awesome (at least I think so).






Zuerst habe ich meine Nägel mit Essence - inkheart lackiert, anschließend mit Manhatten - Pro Mat Top Coat mattiert. Zuvor habe ich auf einem Stück Papier versucht herauszufinden, welcher roter Lack am Besten zu sehen ist und habe mich durch meine Experimente für Essie - too too hot, als Farbe für die Blutspritzer, entschieden. Den habe ich mithilfe eines Fächerpinsels aufgetragen und die "300" habe ich mit einem Stripingpinsel aufgetragen. Stellenweise habe ich mit dem Stripingpinsel auch mehr rote Farbe aufgetragen, damit das Rot intensiver wird. Zum Schluss noch ein paar Bluttropfen mit einem Dotting Tool - fertig!

At first I painted all my nails with Essence - inkheart, afterwards I matted them with Manhatten - Pro Mat Top Coat. I tried to find the right red shade on a piece of paper and after some experiments I chose Essie - too too hot for the blood stains. I applied them with my fan brush and painted the "300" with a striping brush. I added also some red polish here and there to make it more intense. At least I painted some blooddrops with a dotting tool - finished.

Gast Post für Lucy auf "The Nail Snail"

Ich habe wahnsinnig aufregende Nachrichten für euch!

Gestern wurde mein erster Gast Post auf Lucy's Blog "The Nail Snail" veröffentlicht. Ich kann euch sagen, das ganze ist für mich so aufregend - ich meine, meine Nägel auf einem amerikanischen Blog, gepostet von einer Bloggerin, die das schon viel länger macht, schon Blogger Preise gewonnen hat und etliche Follower hat. Noch dazu ist sie seeehr talentiert.

Nachdem der ganze Post auf englisch ist, hier eine kleine Übersetzung der Anleitung für das Design für euch:

Für dieses Design habe ich mit einer Zackenschere das Tixo in sogenannte Chevrons geschnitten. Danach habe ich meinen kleinen Finger, Mittelfinger und Daumen mit zwei Schichten OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls, meinem Lieblings "off-white" (nicht reines Weiß) und meinen Ringfinger auf der einen Seite mit Essie -cocktail bling und meinen Zeigefinger mit Essie - mint candy apple (rückwärts auf der anderen Seite ) lackiert. Einige Blogger verwenden schnell trocknende Top Coats, bevor sie das Tixo aufkleben - ich versuchte es und scheiterte. Ich empfehle, das Tixo auf die Haut, z.B. auf die Hand zu kleben, weil die Hautschuppen die Klebrigkeit verringern, sodass die Gefahr das der Lack mit abgeht beim Entfernen kleiner wird.
Dann habe ich mit einem Make-up-Schwamm den Farbverlauf aufgetupft. Ich begann mit mint candy apple auf der oberen Hälfte des Nagels und den Rest mit cocktail bling. Um einen fließenderen Übergang zu bekommen, empfehle ich, mit der helleren Farbe zu starten, dann die dunklere drüber und dann wieder helle, bis das gewünschte Ergebnis da ist.
Zu guter Letzt, habe ich die kleinen goldenen Studs aus dem Essence Nail Art Kit auf einen Tropfen Klarlack auf Ring- und Zeigefinger gesetzt und alle Nägel mit Sally Hansen - Insta dri Top Coat versiegelt.

Woman

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Im Moment tu ich mir schwer mit neuen Posts, keine Ahnung warum genau, aber ich versuche mich wieder zu bessern.
Deshalb heute ein Design, dass ich die letzten Tage getragen habe, zu dem mich mein Tommy Hilfiger Parfum "Woman" inspiriert hat. Hier ein Bild wie das Parfum aussieht.
Die Farbkombi hat mich von Anfang an fasziniert und da ich immer auf der Suche nach Inspiration bin, wusste ich gleich, dass ich das irgendwann auf meine Nägel malen werde.
At the moment it's a bit hard for me to post, I don't know why, but I try to better myself.
Therefore I have a design for you, which I wore the last few days, inspired by my Tommy Hilfiger parfume called "Woman". Here is a picture how it looks like.
I loved the color combination at first sight, and because I always search for inspiration I knew that I would paint this design on my nails sometime.

Good bye Sochi!

Die Winterolympiade ist vorbei, unsere Olympioniken sind teils schwer behängt mit Medaillen zurück. Obwohl ich kein großer Sportfan bin, bin ich doch etwas patriotisch und habe daher die Spiele ein wenig verfolgt.
Ich habe mich noch kurz vor Ende noch von der Sportmuse küssen lassen und folgendes kreirt!
The Winter Olympics are over, our Olympians back home with loads of medals. Although I'm not a big sports fan, I am a bit patriotic and have therefore followed the games a little. 
Shortly before the games ended I let myself kiss by the muse of sports and created this design!

Zuerst habe ich meine Nägel mit O.P.I. - my boyfriend scales walls lackiert. Anschließend habe ich mit einem Fächerpinsel zuerst die hellen und dann die dunklen Farbtöne aufgetragen (außer beim Mittelfinger, da Essence - inkheart schon dunkel genug war). Dann alles trocknen lassen, die Kreise wieder mit O.P.I. - mbsw und einer Stripingbrush aufgemalt (war gar nicht einfach muss ich sagen), Top Coat drauf - fertig!
At first I painted all my nails with O.P.I. - my boyfriend scales walls. Afterwards I applied the light and then the dark colors with a fan brush (except for the middle finger where I only used Essence - inkheart). I let everything dry and painted the rings with a striping brush and again O.P.I. - mbsw (which wasn't as easy as I thought), apply top coat, finished!

Und? Habe ich eine Goldmedaille verdient?

Fehlkäufe....

Hey Leute! Hey Guys!

Kennt ihr das? Ihr lest, hört oder seht irrsinnig viel über irgendwas, egal was, und wollt es dann unbedingt haben? Oder ihr geht hungrig einkaufen? Oder direkt nach der Gehaltsüberweisung in ein Einkaufszentrum?
Was passiert in der Regel in all diesen Fällen?
Man kauft etwas, dass man vielleicht doch nicht unbedingt braucht oder bereut oder nie wieder ansieht.
Solche Dinge passieren und in diesem Post zeige ich euch meine Fehlkäufe.
Nur zur Info: keiner soll sich beleidigt fühlen, dieser Post spiegelt meine persönliche Meinung wieder. Wenn euch die Dinge gefallen, ihr sie vielleicht sogar besitzt, bitte fühlt euch nicht angegriffen. Ich werde diesen Post möglicherweise sogar erweitern, hoffentlich um nicht zu viele Dinge....

Do you know that? You read, hear or see an incredible amount about something, no matter what, and you want it better now than later? Or you go shopping hungry? Or just after the paycheck in a shopping center?
What usually happens in all these cases?
You buy something that you perhaps do not really need or regret or never look back.
These things happen and in this post I will show you my bad buys.
Just FYI: no one should be offended, this post reflects my personal opinion. If you like the things that ye maybe even owns, please do not feel attacked. I will even possibly expand this post, hopefully with not to many things ....

Fehlkauf / Bad Buy #1:
Essie - Belugaria
Seit die "Encrusted Treasures Collection" in Amerika am Markt ist, habe ich sie intensiv verfolgt. Ich habe immer wieder in Geschäften nachgesehen, ob ich welche bekomme. Am Meisten wollte ich Belugaria haben, einen schwarzen Lack mit runden Holopailletten und feinem Nailcaviar drinnen. Gestern habe ich ihn ausprobiert und es bereut und gleich wieder runtergeschabt (wurde nicht mal trocken).
Since the "Encrusted Treasures Collection" is on the market in the US, I have closely followed. I checked again and again in stores, if I get any. I most wanted Belugaria, a black polish with round holo sequins and fine nail caviar. Yesterday I tried it and regretted it and immediately runtergeschabt (it was not even dry).





Oh Mann... Was für eine Sauerei das war den aufzutragen... Eine Schicht war zu wenig, überall hat der Nagel durchgeleuchtet. Nach der zweiten Schicht war das ganze eine unebene hässliche Masse, die nichtmal Top Coat noch irgendwie hinbiegen konnte. Danach habe ich krampfhaft überlegt, wie ich diesen Lack noch irgendwann mal verwenden kann... bis jetzt konnte ich keine Möglichkeit finden.
Oh man ... what a mess this was to apply... One coat was to thin, my nail shone threw everywhere. I applied a second layer and afterwards it was just a bumpy ugly mess, even top coat couldn't make it any better. I thought about how I could ever use this polish again ... but I couldn't think of any way yet.

Fazit:
Was für ein Fehlkauf... Ich sollte einfach dabei bleiben - Strukturlacke sind nichts für mich und werdens wahrscheinlich nie werden. Ich gebe auch euch den guten Rat: wenn ihr sandige oder strukturierte Finishes nicht mögt - lasst euch nicht von einem an sich schönen Lack verführen. Jeder Euro ist zuviel, wenn man einen Lack nie wieder verwendet oder verwenden will.
Bottom Line:
What a bad buy... I really should stay true to myself - texture polishes aren't made for me and probably will never be. I can give you a good advice: if you don't like sand or textured finishes - do not be seduced by a beautiful polish itself. Every euro spent is to much, if you don't want to use or use it anymore.

O.P.I. - Push and Shove - Swatch

Heute habe ich einen wahren Leckerbissen für euch, einen Lack, über den ich jeden Post gelesen habe, den ich gefunden habe und vorweg schon eine Hass-Liebe entwickelt habe. Warum? Die Blogger die Ihn getestet haben waren mal total begeistert und gleichzeitig haben Sie beschrieben, warum der Lack schwierig in der Handhabung ist. Ich dachte nur... Herausforderung akzeptiert!
Also habe ich wann immer es ging bei Müller reingeschaut und diese Woche wars soweit, endlich konnte ich ihn kaufen!
Today I have a real treat for you, a nail polish, about which I have read every post that I have found and I already developed a love-hate relationship before I got it. Why? The bloggers who tested him on the one hand were thrilled and at the same time they described why the paint is difficult to handle. I just thought ... Challenge accepted!
So I looked for it everytime I was at Müller and this week finally I could buy it!


Hier sieht man, wenn man genau hinsieht, dass sich das Ziffernblatt der Uhr im Lack spiegelt!

Push and Shove von O.P.I ist ein Spiegelglanz Lack, der fast wie ein richtiger Spiegel glänzt. Sowas kennt man normal nur von speziellen Nagelfolien - wobei die einen besseren Spiegeleffekt haben.
Push and Shove kommt gemeinsam mit einem speziellen Basecoat - Lay down that Base und sollte, laut Anweisung auf der Packung und vielen Bloggern, ausschließlich verwendet werden. Auch soll kein Top Coat oben drauf. Ich habe Swatches gesehen, wo Blogger Top Coat verwendet haben und Push and Shove hat sich daraufhin richtig verzogen. Ich habe es auch getestet und zwar mit O.P.I. - RapiDry Top Coat und mit Catrice - Quick dri and High Shine Top Coat und konnte keine Veränderung feststellen, außer dass der Spiegeleffekt ein wenig verloren ging.
Push and Shove from O.P.I. is a mirror effect polish, who nearly shines like a real mirror. Normally special nail foils can provide this effect and mostly the mirror effect is better than with this polish.
Push and Shove comes with a special basecoat - Lay down that Base and according to the instruction and many bloggers this basecoat is the best for using the polish. You should not use top coat as it is also not recommend, I saw bloggers use top coat and it made the polish crinkle. I tried it too with O.P.I. - RapiDry and Catrice - Quick dri and High Shine Top Coat and both didn't crinkle it, but the mirror effect got lost.

Hier habe ich noch ein wenig mit einem schwarzen matten Lack ein paar Designs ausprobiert (Astor - Check Matt), dazu inspiriert hat mich Lackfein, mal wieder!

Zusammenfassung:
Push and Shove ist WOW! Nach all den Berichten, dachte ich: Oh Mann, wie soll ich den halbwegs ordentlich auf meine Nägel bringen. Aber ich muss sagen, die Anwendung war leicht. Allerdings verzeiht dieser Lack nichts! Man sieht jede Delle und Rille auf den Nägeln, wie auch meine Fotos beweisen. Der Effekt ist es allerdings wert ihn zu kaufen und ich bin mir sicher, dass ich ihn noch öfter verwenden werde!

Bottom Line:
Push and Shove is just WOW! After all I read about it, I just thought: Oh man, how should I handle this polish to get it properly on my nails. But I didn't have any problems with it, the usage is easy. But this polish forgives you nothing. I shows every bump and groove your nails have, as my pics show. The effect on the other side is awesome and worth the price and I'm sure I will use it more often.
