Another NYE mani...

Hey ladies!

At the moment I'm totally into gradients, not only because they look awesome, when well done, but also I try to figure out, how to protect my cuticles and an easy clean up method.
You may have heard about Kiesque - Liquid Palisade, this pink liquid latex stuff, many known bloggers and nail artists use, to protect their cuticles when they stamp, gradient or watermarble.
Well, this stuff seems to be the holy grail for clean up, but it's expensive - $22 for this little bottle.
So, smart me looked up alternatives, but before I tell you about it, lets see what I also thought would look good for New Years Eve!

Happy New Year everyone!

Hey ladies!

I know I'm rather late for NYE wishes, but on the first I was simply too tired to post and yesterday I had to go to work, so here we are on the third!

For New Years Eve I decided to to a simple glitter gradient (?), which reminds of firework.

Hey ladies!

The year 2014 is nearly over so I decided to show you my polish favourites of this year!
They are all favourites of different reasons and if I had more time, there would be more. But I decided to choose these!

Christmas Nail art

Hy Ladies!

How are you? How were your holidays? Did you get cool presents and spent some time with your loved ones?
I'm sorry I was absent so long, but the holiday business caught me fully, but now I'm back with my Christmas mani, which I photographed with my new Canon G16! Yes!! I got a really cool camera from my fiance for Christmas, how nice is that??

Mr. Grey will see you now or a swatch post

Hey ladies!

Are you a fan of 50 Shades of Grey by E.L. James? Have you read the books?
No? Then you are a real rarity! :)
I confess, I'm a big fan of the series. Next to fantasy I'm a fan of paranormal romance and sometimes I like to read erotic literature. Yes, I know, normally those books are not very sophisticated, but I love love-stories and I doesn't mind, if they are a bit... ahem... juicy. :)
Today I want to show you a polish from the upcoming O.P.I. - 50 Shades of Grey Collection!

Swatch - O.P.I. - Comet in the sky

Hey ladies!

I recently found a little treasure in Vienna! It is a small O.P.I. Salon! Can you believe this?? The owner and her mother are really nice people and we talked about nail art and polish. I will definitely visit this shop more often. The most exciting about this visit? I got a fresh bottle of My Boyfriend scales Walls (she said, it's her last and she doesn't think she will get them anymore) and a bottle of the new 50 Shades of Grey Collection (I will show you this one in another post soon)!!
But now, I want to show you Comet in the Sky from the Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection, which I also bought there!

Essie Jiggle hi jiggle low Collection swatch and nail art

Hey ladies!

How are you on the second Advent Sunday? It's really frustrating not to have more time to post, but Christmas time is a busy time, but I hope to post more. I have so many manis to post, because even though I don't post more often, I paint my nails every two or three days. So please stay tuned!

First, something about the blog...
Because of my new design, I had to remove the Google+ comments and switch to the normal Blogger comments, because the Google+ comments box did strange things to the template. That's bad, because all your lovely comments from the past are now gone... I mean, not really deleted, but not visible, until my fiancè and I find a way to implement it.

I recentyl bought a mini set of three polishes from the Essie jiggle hi jiggle low Winter Collection. Now for the polishes and manis I did:

Pink Polka Dots

Hey ladies!

How are you on this first Advent Sunday? I'm feeling fine today and I'm in full Christmas mood now and after writing this post I will start to decorate the house! Can you believe we celebrate Christmas again in less than a month?!
Before I start with Christmas and Winter manis, I want to show you some pink polka dots I did a while ago.
Let's take a look!

NEW BLOG DESIGN China Glaze The Giver Collection Swatch and Nail Art

Hy my lovely ladies!

First, I want to say WELCOME AND HELLO to all my new followers! Thank you for finding and following me!
Second, my NEW DESIGN is online!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK?? Sorry for the shout, but I LOVE it so much!! If you visited my blog this weekend you may have seen the different designs, because it was hard work and my super sweet, patient and genius fiancè (I love you so much!) managed everything perfect, don't you think?! Tell me what you think in the comments or via mail!

I bought three colors from the China Glaze The Giver Collection recently at Hypnotic Polish and I really, really wanted to swatch them properly, but after I applied them, I simply couldn't stop and forgot about photographing them without nail art. So yeah, this is less a swatch post and more a nail art post! (sorry...)
All these colors spoke to me, because they are what I call "off-whites" and because I can't get my hands on a fresh bottle of my beloved O.P.I. - My Boyfriend scales Walls, I'm constantly searching for a proper heir to it.

I really love how the cubes pop out and I can tell you, they look so 3D in reallity, you should really really try this - it's amaazing!

Mani Swap with Sabrina from ssunnysideup

Hey ladies!

This week I did a mani swap with Sabrina from ssunnysideup. I found her on Instagram a while ago and the most surprising thing was, that she is also from Austria like me!
I have found some other Austrian nail girls since, but believe it's hard, because they are all hiding I think.
Anyways, Sabrina asked for a mani swap and I volunteered immediately!
Let's take a look!

Engagement celebration mani

Hy lovlies!

I know you are all very attentive, so you have noticed that I'm engaged since the 10th of October.
Yes, my sweet boyfriend asked me to marry him and he did everything just perfect at the proposal. I had the full romantic package - delicious dinner, lots of candles when we came back home and he even was on his knee, with the ring in his hand, when he asked me!
I was speechless, but managed to say YES.
Last week I celebrated with my parents and sister and I wore a beautiful dress for lunch. And crazy for nail art as I am, I had to match my nails with my dress. So, here we go!
